Areas for Nomadic Populations
The management of the areas dedicated to nomadic populations stay is a double challenge to raise for both the communities and the suppliers.
For the clients it is a question of applying the law of July 5, 2000 (in France); beyond, it is a question of answering waiting of populations which the way of life and the habits are different from our usual models. All that in an often complex environment due to the hostility of the neighbourhood, the cost of land and the investments to be realized which are often heavy.
For the implied suppliers it is a matter of providing a perennial solution and a powerful economic model which will make it possible to the managers of the areas to lead their mission of lodging and social integration, in the respect of the assigned budgets.

Our solutions not only include the supply of the physical elements like the sanitary premises or the electricity/water distribution pedestals but also user-friendly area management software and communication networks (wire or wireless).
Electricity and water distribution
The electricity and water distribution system can be integrated into the sanitary premises or into robust pedestals especially designed and developed for nomadic populations. The two types of supports can be combined.
Metering management
Using either a contactless smart card (RFID technology - ISO standard) or teleprocessing. Both solutions are based on prepayment.
Management modes
Whatever the solution of prepayment adopted, it can be centralized or decentralized.
Communication and networks
The choice of the communication mode between the various distribution points and the control office depends primarily on the options and on the management mode chosen. There are several types of connection. The main ones are:
- wired (I2C, RS485, IP),
- wireless (WIFI, GSM),
The protocols used can be of GSM type, proprietary, modbus... In any case, InSilio will study the solution best adapted to the customer requirements.
It should be noted that there is no limit with the number of smart card readers that can be put in network, nor with regard to the distance between the various modules of this same network.
In addition, the readers' architecture developed by InSilio offers an important flexibility as for integration of all types of couplers in OEM.
